Aguiar-Branco will reject commission on Luís Neves if Chega does not amend request

The President of the Assembly of the Republic, Aguiar-Branco, announced that he will reject the creation of an inquiry commission into Luís Neves if the Chega party does not amend the request submitted.

According to the information reported, the president of Parliament identified "insuficiencies in the delimitation of the object and grounds" of the request submitted by Chega.

Aguiar-Branco clarified that these insuficiencies "do not allow, in their current formulation, for the mandatory establishment of the requested" inquiry commission.

The Chega party will therefore have the possibility to reformulate the request to meet the requirements necessary for the creation of the commission on Luís Neves.
