A plumber identified as Chen was called to solve a persistent clog in a kitchen sewage pipe in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The problem had already been investigated by other technicians without success. When opening the pipe, the professional was surprised by a large amount of blood that gushed from the pipe.
During the service, Chen ended up, by mistake, cutting a python that was hidden in the location. The python is a snake species that has no venom fangs and kills its prey by constriction, squeezing until it prevents breathing or circulation. The mutilated body of the animal was found outside the pipe.
The incident occurred on August 14. The plumber explained to the press that, after trying various methods without being able to identify the cause of the clog, he decided to open the water pipe to check what was blocking it.
The case generated various theories, especially because it occurred on the first day of the seventh lunar month, a date that, according to local beliefs, is associated with supernatural phenomena.
