Valter Hugo Mãe's novel "O Nosso Reino" gets Mirandese version

The novel "O Nosso Reino", by Valter Hugo Mãe, will have an edition in Mirandese. The Mirandese language is spoken in the northeastern region of Portugal, particularly in the district of Bragança.

The new edition will be presented on September 18. The presentation is part of the celebrations of Mother Language Day, which this year takes place in the city of Miranda do Douro.

Valter Hugo Mãe is a recognized Portuguese writer, having received several literary awards throughout his career. The translation into Mirandese represents a milestone for the valorization of this minority language.
