Gustavo Coutinho, a student at the Agrupamento de Escolas Dr. António Granjo, in Chaves, completed secondary school with a 20-out-of-20 average, which represents the maximum classification level in the Portuguese education system. His academic path was marked by good results, involvement with the school, and above all, consistency.
Gustavo is now preparing to begin his degree in Industrial Engineering and Management in Porto. The choice of course did not arise from a single, perfectly defined vocation, as the student admits he has never felt a specific area as a mandatory destiny.
Upon discovering the Industrial Engineering and Management course, Gustavo found a program that allows him to have a broader education and the possibility of making a more concrete decision about the area of specialization in the future.
Mathematics, however, has always been among the subjects that most attracted him. The student says he has always liked the field of mathematics and has always had the idea that it was something he wanted to be associated with at university.
