Sean "Diddy" Combs will be released from prison more than two weeks early. The new expected release date for the music mogul is February 5, 2028, according to information attributed to the United States Penitentiary Department and released by the TMZ website. Previously, the expectation was February 20, 2028, and before that, the release was scheduled for June of that same year.
The rapper and music producer is serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Recently, he was transferred from solitary confinement back to the general population after a fight in the American prison.
Diddy was convicted in 2025 on two charges of transporting people across state lines for prostitution purposes. During the trial, prosecutors maintained that he organized sexual encounters, which, according to the prosecution, he would often watch.
