The emergency departments of Lisbon hospitals continue under strong pressure. Waiting times for urgent care are far above what is recommended.
On Wednesday morning, patients classified as urgent faced prolonged waits at the emergency departments in the Lisbon region.
Hospital Amadora-Sintra was particularly affected, recording the highest waiting times.
This situation arises in the context of a period of intense pressure on the emergency services of the Portuguese capital, which has been monitored by the FALA PORTUGAL program on TV RECORD.
