Rui Caetano insists on the creation of a municipal police in Funchal

Rui Caetano, PS councilor at the Funchal City Council, again insisted on the creation of a municipal police for the city. His statements were made at the end of today's meeting of the municipal executive.

The councilor criticized the measures currently implemented to solve the mobility problems in Funchal, considering that the creation of lanes for public transport and the placement of pins are insufficient to address the problem.

According to Rui Caetano, these initiatives are important, but only if they are integrated into an overall planning of the city of Funchal. The PS councilor argues that a more comprehensive and coordinated approach is needed to solve the urban mobility challenges in the municipality.
