The Hortolândia Association of Atibaia promotes the 44th edition of the Flowers and Strawberries Festival, with support from the Municipal City Hall and sponsorship from regional companies. The event takes place from September 4 to 27, 2026, at the Ecological Park of Atibaia, covering weekends and the Independence holiday on September 7. The initiative aims to celebrate local strawberry production, Japanese-Brazilian culture, and boost tourism in the region.

The programming includes 13 days of activities, featuring gastronomic attractions, cultural shows, themed exhibitions, a cosplay contest, and a space dedicated to female literature from Atibaia. The attractions are free for municipal public employees and students from the municipal school system accompanied by guardians.

The culinary offerings include dishes from Brazilian and Japanese cuisine, as well as strawberry-based sweets. Local producers make available approximately 80 tons of fresh strawberries for direct sale to the public.
