Infraestruturas de Portugal will invest 700 million euros in the Alentejo by 2028, reveals State Secretary

The State Secretary for Infrastructure, Hugo Espírito Santo, announced that Infraestruturas de Portugal will invest 700 million euros in the Alentejo region by the end of 2028. The announcement was made in statements to the newspaper ODigital.pt.

The planned amount covers both road and rail interventions. The works will be carried out in the districts of Beja, Évora and Portalegre.

The 700 million euro investment does not yet include high-speed projects, whose value and development have not yet been specified in the announcement.
