Jorge Carvalho, president of the Funchal City Council, guaranteed that the bus stop at Pelourinho will have shelters. This guarantee came following the council meeting held today.

At the same meeting, Jorge Carvalho highlighted the unanimous approval of the amendment to the higher education scholarship regulation. This modification allows for an increase of approximately 20% in the support already provided to students.
