An 81-year-old elderly woman died after being run over by a garbage truck in Lisbon. The alert for the incident was given at 09:00.

The victim was hit by the garbage collection vehicle and ended up being thrown against a wall, according to available information.

The accident occurred in the Portuguese capital, causing the immediate death of the elderly woman.

The competent authorities were dispatched to the accident scene to proceed with the investigation and preparation of the necessary report.
