A First Alert Dispatch was issued for a rural fire in the Lisbon region, specifically in the localities of Lourinhã, São Bartolomeu dos Galegos and Moledo. The alert was registered in the geographical area covered by these parishes.
The fire originated in vegetation, classified as a brush fire. Civil protection authorities mobilized significant resources to combat the flames in the area.
The firefighting operations had a total of 22 personnel on the ground. Five ground resources were deployed to support the extinction efforts.
To reinforce operations, 1 aerial resource was also activated to assist in combating the flames and controlling the spread of the fire in that area.
