Radio Nacional celebrated its 90 years on September 12 with a special project in partnership with samba school Estácio de Sá. For this commemoration, the two institutions re-recorded the samba-enredo "Alô! Alô! Brasil!", which was originally created almost 50 years ago.
The samba-enredo was presented by Estácio de Sá in 1977, when the radio was completing four decades of existence. At the time, the school brought the theme to the Avenue to pay tribute to the station.
Now, almost five decades later, the partnership was remade to mark Radio Nacional's 90 years. The new recording version brings together the station and the samba school again in a project that rescues this historical connection.
