Évora: PSP arrests man for domestic violence

The PSP arrested a 57-year-old man in execution of an arrest warrant for the crimes of domestic violence and aggravated threat, in Évora. On August 30, the teams dedicated to Domestic Violence at the Évora Police Station were alerted to a situation of assaults inside a residence in the city. According to the PSP, moments before the officers' arrival, the suspect had physically assaulted his wife and threatened her with an axe. The couple's son is believed to have witnessed the situation.
