Hotel occupancy in the Algarve could reach 80% in September, according to forecasts from the Association of Hotels and Tourist Enterprises of the Algarve (AHETA).

Regarding the month of August, similar results are not expected, as the association's expectation points to lower numbers.

However, for September, AHETA states that the expectation is that the month "corresponds to what July was" and presents good results.

The association did not specify which factors contribute to this positive forecast for September in the Algarve's hotel sector.
