FC Porto announced the list of registered players for the Champions League, with coach Francesco Farioli leaving out two players who had been pointed out as possible choices for the European competition.
The Brazilian Gabriel Mec, who was officially presented as a new signing for the Porto club this week, is the main absence from the list of registered players for the Champions League. His signing was recently confirmed, but the player is not expected to take part in the initial phase of the competition.
In addition to Gabriel Mec, the Croatian Prpic was also left off the registered list. Both players appear not to be in Farioli's immediate plans for the main UEFA club competition.
Francesco Farioli, who takes over the technical command of the team, made these decisions regarding the composition of the group of players for the Champions League, choosing not to include the two recent signings in his choices for the competition.
