Iniciativa Liberal expressed its support for a traffic study for the creation of a connection between IC9 and A1. The political party's local branch considered that this infrastructure is an asset for the region.

According to this political force, the creation of this access will significantly improve the connections of Batalha and Porto de Mós to the A1, as well as the rest of the municipality of Leiria. The project comes as a solution to optimize the road connectivity of this area of the district.
