Project evaluates the potential of digital 'settlement' in international trade

A research project is evaluating the potential of digital 'settlement' in international trade. The study is developed by NOVA FCT in partnership with The Navigator Company and Bison Bank. The main objective is to generate evidence that can support future decisions by companies, financial institutions, public decision-makers and other participants in international trade. The project thus seeks to contribute to a better understanding of the advantages and challenges associated with the digitization of settlement processes in the context of global trade.
