Eurozone private sector activity remained unchanged in August, according to data from the PMI index published by S&P Global. This stability indicates that the region's economic growth remained consistent during this period.

Southern Europe led growth in the eurozone. This region demonstrated particularly strong performance, contributing significantly to the overall results of the monetary bloc.

PMI index data revealed that activity growth was the fastest recorded in the past eight months. This result represents an acceleration compared to previous months, suggesting a gradual recovery of economic activity in the eurozone.

The index stood close to its long-term average of 52.3 points. This level indicates that the eurozone economy continues on a path of moderate and stable growth, in line with long-term historical trends.
