Companies from the electrical and technology sectors have united in opposition to this government measure, which they consider a "great screening" of data center projects in the country. These companies are arguing against the new requirements that the Executive intends to impose.
The executive justifies the measure as necessary to organize and control the high volume of applications for the opening of new data center facilities that has emerged in recent times. The intention is to halt some of the projects and allow only the best, the most sustainable, and the most secure ones to move forward.
