The Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS), an organization dependent on the Spanish Ministry of Health, ordered the cessation of commercialization, withdrawal from the market, and recovery of several lots of FluorKin strawberry children's mouthwash due to microbiological contamination.
The affected product is a strawberry-flavored mouthwash intended for children's use, manufactured by the FluorKin brand.
AEMPS issued a statement alerting the population about the contaminated lots and recommended that consumers stop using the product immediately.
This action is part of the Spanish health surveillance agency's competencies, responsible for monitoring the safety of health products available on the market and taking corrective measures when risks to public health are identified.
