UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of U.Porto has opened applications for the new edition of Startup School, a fully free program aimed at future entrepreneurs with business ideas in the areas of arts, sciences, technology, health, and cleantech. The program has the support of Santander Portugal Foundation.
Participants will have access to a structured pathway that includes sessions on business model validation, pitching techniques, go-to-market strategies, differentiation and marketing, as well as tools for developing a solid business plan. The program will also include case studies and talks with startup founders.
The 14th edition will culminate in a Pitch Day scheduled for January 27, where participants can present their ideas to the Porto entrepreneurial community. In the 13 previous editions, the program supported approximately 540 entrepreneurs, resulting in the creation of more than 80 companies and accumulated investment exceeding 65 million euros.
