Fall on balcony mobilizes firefighters on Travessa Costa Dias

The Madeirense Voluntary Firefighters were called to Travessa Costa Dias, in Funchal, for a door opening situation with medical assistance. The incident occurred moments ago and the firefighters are on site providing assistance to the victim.

The alert was given by a neighbor who reported a woman who had suffered a fall on the balcony of her home. According to what could be ascertained, the woman was unable to move after the fall, which prompted the request for help.

The firefighters are monitoring the situation on site and the transport of the victim to a hospital unit is planned. The incident is still being monitored by the rescue services that are on site.
