The "Cultural Network of Alto Mondego" is back for a new edition, after a first development phase that took place between 2018 and 2022. This cultural cooperation initiative between municipalities was initially created to promote shared cultural activities in the Alto Mondego region.
The four municipalities involved in the network are Nelas, Mangualde, Gouveia and Fornos de Algodres. These municipalities joined together with the objective of boosting the cultural offer of the region through collaborative projects.
The new edition of the Cultural Network of Alto Mondego is scheduled to start in November 2026 and run until February 2027, maintaining the commitment to continue uniting the four municipalities through joint cultural initiatives.
The promise of the organizers is that this network continues to serve as a platform for cultural promotion and strengthening of ties between the municipalities that make up Alto Mondego.
