The road accident occurred this morning on Rua 5 de Outubro, in Funchal, and left at least two injured. The Voluntários Madeirenses Firefighters transported a man, in his 60s, to hospital who was presenting neck pain.
The other injured person was also transported to a hospital facility, although by another fire department. The accident involved at least three vehicles.
The incident continues to cause traffic disruptions on this artery of the city of Funchal.
