Proença de Carvalho advised Crest Capital Partners on the acquisition of a group of companies in the packaging sector, including Tecnopack, Embalpom, Seven Way, Tectray, Teclogistics and Etirótulos, as well as their respective subsidiaries involved in the operation.
The operation is part of a consolidation strategy in the packaging sector, bringing together companies with complementary activities such as trade, production, logistics, labeling and technical assistance of equipment and packaging solutions, with significant presence in the industrial and agri-food segments.
André Matias de Almeida, partner at Proença de Carvalho, led the advisory team, with coordination handled by senior associate Miguel Almeida Simões. The team also included lawyers Mariana Castro Pereira, Gonçalo Poejo Grilo, Bruno Matias, Madalena Batalha Reis and Pilar Líbano Monteiro.
The tax area of the operation was overseen by partner Bárbara Schürmann and consultant Francisco Bento Ribeiro, ensuring the necessary rigor in the contractual structuring of an operation that covered an extended corporate perimeter with different origins and realities.
