Over 700 dangerous artefacts, probably from World War II, were discovered during agricultural work in a locality in the municipality of Płońsk, in Poland. The discovery was reported by Mazovia Police, who confirmed the historical and dangerous nature of the materials found.
Local authorities were alerted to the presence of these materials after the agricultural work disturbed the soil of the region.
This type of discovery is common in various European countries, where unexploded munitions and artefacts from past conflicts continue to be found.
