The 1st Literary Festival of Duque de Caxias (Fliduc) will be held from September 23 to 26 and will aim to encourage reading and bring the public closer to writers and their works. The event will feature more than two thousand books and the participation of various community libraries.

The program will include literary activities such as conversation circles, reading mediations, storytelling, workshops, poetry gatherings, and other cultural actions. Among the main highlights are Fábio Books, a bookstore from Duque de Caxias, and the Community Libraries Network "Tecendo Uma Rede de Leitura."

The literary festival will also have a specific space dedicated to publishers, expanding the participation of the publishing market in the event. This initiative seeks to create an opportunity for the public to discover different catalogs, authors, and works, strengthening the connection between readers and the publishing universe.
