Investment in data centers in Spain could "escape" new regulations to Portugal

The Spanish government proposed a new bill with regulatory measures for data centers in the country. If this legislation is approved, investments in this sector could be redirected to Portugal, which appears to offer more favorable regulatory conditions. Portugal seems to have a more attractive framework for the installation of data centers, compared to what is being proposed in Spain. The public consultation on the Spanish measures ends next Friday.
