Cacique Cobra Coral receives record requests to stop rain at Rock in Rio, but there's no agreement with festival

The Cacique Cobra Coral Foundation received a record number of requests to prevent rain during Rock in Rio, with more than 2 thousand emails only this week from people who will travel to Rio for the festival. However, the foundation will not work to keep the rains away during the event, as there was no agreement with the festival, as occurred in previous years.

The foundation explained that it is running a special operation in São Paulo to fill the Cantareira System, which has less than 40% water. When there was a partnership with Rock in Rio, the work of filling the reservoirs began six months before the event.

The foundation's spokesperson, Osmar Santos, husband of medium Adelaide Scritori, stated that before it was Roberto Medina himself who contacted the foundation. Now, with control of the festival in the hands of Medina's children, the foundation was not contacted and cannot pursue the work while it is busy with the operation in São Paulo.
