The Federal Police is working to conclude the first two investigations of Operation Compliance Zero that investigate alleged irregularities committed by banker Daniel Vorcaro. The two investigations are expected to be finalized by November and will be the first to result in the indictment of the Bank's owner, his father, and brother-in-law.
The first investigation examines an alleged bribe payment by Vorcaro to former Central Bank directors. The second investigates the actions of the so-called "A Turma" in intimidating the banker's enemies. Both investigations are at an advanced stage, pending only the conclusion of bank analyses and the examination of seized material.
According to a PF report signed on August 27, testimonies related to the facts have already begun, with a forecast of conclusion within 60 days. The document also reveals a series of messages sent by Vorcaro to Supreme Federal Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes.
