One year after the Gloria Elevator tragedy, Lisbon will mark the anniversary of the funicular's derailment with a tribute to the victims. The Lisbon City Council is organizing the anniversary ceremony which includes the inauguration of a memorial in memory of the people who lost their lives in the accident. The Gloria Elevator, one of the city's historic transports, suffered a serious accident that resulted in fatalities. The Lisbon community and the victims' families will participate in the tribute ceremony marking this first anniversary of the tragedy.
