Pedro Acosta, 22 years old, still hasn't achieved a victory in MotoGP, but shows clear signs that he could become world champion of the category. The Spanish rider, known as the "shark from Mazarrón", is considered one of the great promises of the championship.
Acosta is one of three riders on the MotoGP grid who moved up to the top category after completing, with enormous brilliance, all the previous stages that all world champions have gone through. His journey through the lower categories demonstrated exceptional talent.
The young Spanish rider is, together with brothers Marc and Àlex Márquez, the only racer to reach MotoGP having won the Moto3 title in 2021 and the Moto2 title in 2023. This victorious trajectory in the base categories reinforces the expectation that Acosta could dominate the premier category in the future.
