GD Portel claimed the Évora Football Association Champions Cup last night by defeating Lusitano GC B after a duel decided solely in the penalty shootout. The match took place at Campo Virgílio Durão in Reguengos de Monsaraz.
The game pitted the Liga Elite winner, GD Portel, against the Taça Dinis Vital winner, Lusitano GC B. At the end of regulation time, the score was 1–1, which required the tiebreaker to be decided through penalties.
The GD Portel team managed to prevail following the penalty shootout, thus securing the title of the Évora Football Association Champions Cup.
