The American metal band Avenged Sevenfold will be the headliner of the second day of Rock in Rio 2026, scheduled for September 5. The California group will be the main attraction on the Mundo stage, performing after the bands Bring Me The Horizon, Mgk and Sepultura. This is not the first time Avenged Sevenfold has performed at the festival. In 2024, the band also closed the metal day, and in 2013 it was alongside big names like Slayer and Iron Maiden.
The last album released by Avenged Sevenfold was "Life Is but a Dream...", released in 2023. However, the band's most recent setlists show a great mix of songs from throughout their career discography, including songs from classic albums like "City of Evil" and "Waking the Fallen".
According to the publication, the likely setlist of Avenged Sevenfold at Rock in Rio 2026 includes songs like Nightmare, Magic Afterlife, Shepherd of Fire, Buried Alive, Seize the Day, Hail to the King, Nobody, M.I.A., Bat Country, Unholy Confessions and Cosmic, thus bringing together tracks from different eras of the band.
