Vasco faces Vitória this Wednesday at 9:30 PM at Barradão, in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals. In the first match, the Rio de Janeiro team won 1-0 and has the advantage of a draw to advance to the semifinals. If they lose 1-0, the tie will be decided on penalties, and a defeat by two or more goals will eliminate Vasco.
Manager Pedro Emanuel made an Argentine swap in the attack command compared to the team that defeated Cruzeiro in the Brasileirão. Spinelli returns as the starting center forward, while Colidio, who was an essential piece in the last two games and had started as a starter, will be on the bench. Adson continues on the right wing and Andrés Gómez plays on the left side of the attack.
David, Vasco's forward, is available on the bench despite being targeted by a Civil Police operation two days before the match. The operation resulted in a search and seizure at his home and at the club's Training Center, but the player was not intimidated and remains at Pedro Emanuel's disposal.
