Benfica loans Richard Ríos to Al-Ittihad

Benfica has loaned Colombian midfielder Richard Ríos to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia. The 26-year-old player has already said goodbye to his teammates before departing for the new challenge.

The loan is for one season and involves an approximate amount of 4 million euros. However, the agreement does not include any purchase option on the part of the Saudi club.

Richard Ríos thus leaves Benfica after a period at the Portuguese club. The young Colombian will now head to Saudi Arabia to represent Al-Ittihad during the next season.
