"Fontes de Belém" and Seguro's "friends" irritate the Government

Observador3 September 2026 at 00:26

The President of the Republic did not deny the alleged ultimatum made to Montenegro, which has irritated the Government and created political tension. The so-called "fontes de Belém" and the "friends" of António José Seguro continue to make public statements that cause political problems, without Seguro intervening to stop them.

The situation is causing prolonged wear over time, which worries the PSD. Seguro's closest advisers have not stopped creating embarrassing situations, feeding political instability.

The article suggests there is a network of Seguro's supporters who continue to act autonomously, provoking negative reactions both from the Government and from political circles close to the President of the Republic, without any control on the part of the socialist leader.
