Rock in Rio returns with its new edition on September 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13, once again transforming Rio de Janeiro into a stage for big names in music. The festival takes place at the City of Rock, located at the Olympic Park, in Barra da Tijuca.
Among the main confirmed attractions are Foo Fighters, Elton John, Stray Kids, Maroon 5, Calvin Harris, Black Eyed Peas, Gilberto Gil, Ivete Sangalo, Twenty One Pilots, Halsey and Demi Lovato. The lineup is distributed across several stages, including Mundo, Sunset, New Dance Order, Espaço Favela, Global Village and Supernova.
The City of Rock gates open at 2 PM on all days of the festival, with last entry permitted until midnight. The Foo Fighters band has already arrived in Brazil ahead of schedule, bringing 27 tons of equipment in two cargo planes for the performance.
