Thousands of people gathered in the center of Madrid to celebrate Ceuta Day, in a demonstration that took place simultaneously in more than 260 municipalities across Spain. The event brought together several Spanish political figures at Cibeles Square.
Alberto Núñez Feijóo, Isabel Díaz Ayuso and Santiago Abascal attended the demonstration, showing a rare unity between the three political leaders. The three represent different currents of the Spanish political spectrum.
All participants in the demonstration accused Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of lying and being at the service of the Moroccan government. This criticism arises in the context of the relations between Spain and Morocco and the specific situation of Ceuta.
