On September 27th, a solidarity race dedicated to children with epidermolysis bullosa will take place, a rare genetic condition that makes the skin extremely fragile, commonly known as "butterfly skin".
Each kilometer of the race will be dedicated to three specific children: Matilde, Salvador and Pilar, thus giving them a voice through this sporting and solidarity initiative.
The challenge goes beyond simply completing the race, aiming to raise public awareness about the reality experienced by children and families affected by this chronic and debilitating condition.
The organizers hope the event will raise awareness in the community for the difficulties faced daily by these children, whose skin requires constant and special care.
