Thousands of people mobilized throughout Spain in solidarity with Ceuta. In Madrid, thousands gathered in front of the City Hall, where they chanted protest slogans and showed their support for the people of Ceuta. The same sentiment was observed throughout the country, with more than 260 calls to mobilization coordinated by the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, which brought massive crowds to the streets.
Barcelona, A Coruña, Tenerife, Valencia and Málaga were some of the cities that joined this wave of solidarity, on a day that was described as the biggest day of support for Ceuta. The demonstration coincided with Ceuta's autonomy day, thus becoming a moment of great significance for the participants.
Through the banners and signs displayed at the demonstrations, the discontent was palpable on the Spanish streets, reflecting the emotional intensity of the moment. The difficult maintenance of composure by many participants highlighted the profound impact that the events related to Ceuta had on the population.
