The Firefox browser now includes ad blocking functionality in its version for iPhone. Until now, this option was not available for Apple device users.

The same ad blocking functionality already existed in the Firefox versions for computers and Android phones, and is now being extended to iPhone users.

GNR warns anyone who receives a new bank card by mail: don't do this or you could lose your money

GNR is warning about a new bank fraud scheme that arrives through traditional mail. Victims receive a letter seemingly sent by the bank, containing a supposed new bank card with their personal details. The letter includes a QR code that, when scanned, redirects to a fake bank page — a technique known as "quishing." By entering credentials or personal data on this fraudulent page, victims hand over information to scammers, potentially losing money and suffering identity theft. GNR recommends never using QR codes received by mail to activate bank cards and that, in case of doubt, you should contact the bank directly through official channels.
