A study revealed that 52% of children and adolescents in Portugal had access to hate speech on the internet during the last year. This means that more than half of Portuguese young people were exposed to this type of online content.

The research was conducted in Portugal and focused on minors' access to hate messages on the internet. The period analyzed corresponds to the last year.

The data highlight the need for greater monitoring and protection of young people in the digital environment, where hate speech continues to be present and accessible.
