DGS clarifies doubts about the 2026/2027 immunization campaign against RSV in pediatric age

The Directorate-General for Health (DGS) clarified the doubts about the 2026/2027 immunization campaign against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection in pediatric age. The campaign begins on September 16.

The administration of the immunization will be carried out in maternity hospitals from the public, private, and social sectors, intended for children born from September 16, 2026. In addition to maternity hospitals, primary healthcare and hospitals will also be involved in the operationalization of this vaccination campaign.
