Udinese and Sassuolo secured their passage to the Italian Cup round of 16 on Wednesday, in third-round matches of the competition.
Udinese, known as the 'Bianconeri,' defeated Venezia 2-1, securing their place in the next stage of the competition.
Sassuolo, nicknamed the 'neroverdi,' had a more complicated tie, being forced to decide qualification through penalties against Frosinone. Despite the difficulties, Sassuolo's players managed to prevail and advance in the tournament.
With these results, Udinese and Sassuolo join the group of teams still in the Italian Cup, now awaiting the round of 16 draw.
