The Secretary of State for Agriculture, João Moura, carried out on September 1st a visit to the agricultural innovation hubs at Herdades da Abóboda and Lameirões, in Alentejo. The visit was accompanied by the President of the Coordination Commission and Regional Development of Alentejo, I.P. (CCDR Alentejo), Ricardo Pinheiro. The event demonstrates governmental interest in the development and promotion of innovation in the agricultural sector of the Alentejo region. Herdades da Abóboda and Lameirões function as agricultural innovation hubs, representing centers for the development of practices and technologies for the sector.
