The Federal Reserve's Beige Book (Fed), released Wednesday, indicates that the US economy showed resilience in July and August, with 10 of the 12 districts of the central bank reporting economic growth between slight to moderate.
The Defense and data center sectors were identified as significant contributors to this economic growth recorded in the period under analysis.
The document, which collects qualitative information from businesses and regional contacts, suggests that the North American economy managed to maintain its dynamism despite the challenging global economic context.
The release of the Beige Book occurs at a time when financial markets and policymakers are closely following the evolution of the world's largest economy.
