Fleeing driver crashes into vehicles and forces GNR to shoot into the air in Quinta do Conde

The GNR pursued a fleeing driver in Quinta do Conde, in the district of Setúbal. The police chase took place through the streets of the locality until it ended in a supermarket parking lot.

The fleeing vehicle crashed into two parked vehicles in the parking lot, located in the municipality of Sesimbra. The authorities' car also ended up colliding with the vehicle that was trying to escape.

The images obtained by SIC show the moment of the collisions inside the parking lot. During the escape, GNR agents fired into the air in an attempt to prevent the driver from continuing to flee.
