Rio Gastronomia is a gastronomic festival created by the newspaper O GLOBO, which since its founding in 1925 has always closely followed the gastronomic scene. The event is considered the largest gastronomic festival in the country and was declared part of the official calendar of Rio de Janeiro in 2024.
Between September 17 and October 4, the festival returns to occupy the Jockey Club Brasileiro, in Gávea. The 2025 edition of the event recorded record attendance, indicating the continuous growth of the festival over the years.
Rio Gastronomia brings together various attractions, including award-winning restaurants, classes with renowned chefs, musical shows, a fair featuring local producers, and well-established entertainment such as the Ferris wheel. The program also features the debut of award-winning restaurants, the return of veteran establishments, and a space dedicated to historic bars in the city.
